Mayapur Voice, with its all-inclusive vision, is a relentless mission to inspire integrity and promote purity across all sectors of society. We strive to bring to you an insightful and unconventional analysis of assorted news and trends.
Our views are based on the teachings of His Divine Grace Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), who first brought the divine message of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to the West and continues to enlighten millions of lost souls throughout the world.
Srila Prabhupada says “purity is the force”. His purity, both internal and external, was the main force behind his extraordinary success. We believe that all of us, who claim to be his followers, must exhibit the highest standard of purity and morality in order to effectively carry out the mission entrusted to us by His Divine Grace. It is said that charity begins at home, and as such, effective preaching is better done by setting examples. This necessarily demands that along with preaching activities for the outside world, we also act on improving local standards. Mayapur Voice is a place where we discuss, encourage, practice, and promote Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.
While our objectives and activities may appear similar to those of many other publications, our interest is not confined to any special group, project or product as it may be the case with other publications. This makes Mayapur Voice unique, and permits us to propagate the global vision that Srila Prabhupada had professed and asked his followers to carry out.
We are aware of the challenges considering the wide spectrum of activities we intend to cover with our limited resources in terms of time, money, and manpower. There are other potential obstacles that may also impede our services. However, with a team of like-minded devotees filled with an inexhaustible passion to see ISKCON emerge as the exemplary society envisioned by Srila Prabhupada, and with an unquestionable loyalty to Lord Chaitanya’s sankirtan movement, we are confident that regardless of what we have or don’t have, and regardless of what we achieve or don’t achieve, one day we will please His Divine Grace by our materially unmotivated endeavours.
Hare Krishna.
