Whenever there is a new discovery of an archaeological evidence of a large skeleton, it invariably accompanies a good number of assumptions as to what it could be, how old it could be and so on, and the most popular assumption is that of a dinosaur, even when it looks something different.
Paleontologists have discovered a 50-ft “dragon” dinosaur species in China that may have roamed the earth 160 million years ago in the Late Jurassic period.
The long skeleton was found in 2006 by some local farmers digging for a fishpond in Qijiang city in China’s southwestern Chongqing province.
Lida Xing, a member of the research team from the University of Alberta who made the discovery, told CNN it was named Qijianglong, the “dragon of Qijiang” because farmers thought the bones resembled the shape of Chinese mythical dragons.
The question could be, if the skeleton was found in 2006, why is it being publicized now? The difficulty with today’s archaeologists and researchers is, they are not able to understand or even hypothetically think how the so-called “stories” found in ancient scriptures or traditions could in fact be historical events or existence. The root of this problem lies with Darwinian theory of evolution because it is unable to satisfactorily explain the “evolution”, as they call it.
“We found the dinosaur’s huge vertebrae with the skull and the tail, but couldn’t find any bones from the hands or the legs. So the locals began to say the long body looked just like a dragon from ancient Chinese stories,” he said Xing. Incredible 50-ft ‘dragon’ dinosaur unearthed by Chinese farmers – CNN.com
In previous ages, there did exist gigantic bodies even among human race. It is predicted in the Vedic scriptures that with the age of iron, i.e. Kaliyuga, setting on this planet, the size of body, life span, good fortune, and the level of intelligence – all will diminish. We are already seeing this happening. The fact that today’s scientists are not able to understand historical facts mentioned in Vedic scriptures is a proof of lack of intelligence. It is high time they take shelter of the Vedic scriptures in order to understand the mystery of creation instead of spending billions on experiments and research work.
